My first time at Pappadeaux. I LOVED the architecture, ambiance and landscaping. Very beautiful. My review is a 3.5 stars. This place is very pricey $113 for two.
HIGHLY recommended:
* Cedar plank salmon with asparagus.
* Banana bread pudding in a mason jar! You can get this to go too! INCREDIBLE!!
* The pasta that comes with the NOT recommended alaskan king crab legs was yummy. Just get the pasta ala carte.
NOT recommended:
* (2) Alaskan king crab legs with pasta. Very pricey and my friend and I were greeted and relayed that their seafood is fresh and flown in. I ordered this item and it was definitely NOT fresh. The crab legs were extremely salty, inedible. The texture was super off.
* Creme brulee - was extremely bland, without flavor and the consistency was very loose, soup -like. Interesting enough I inquired about this to the hostess and she says that's how they make it. I just left it alone.
* Mojito (1)
I'll definitely return for other items to try. Yet, I recommend asking what is fresh before you order it. My oder was very disappointing and ironically enough the "NOT recommended" portion was mine. Boo. Good news my friend shared and treated.
