  • HORRIBLE. When we first got here they gave us a room on the first floor that had a balcony but it was locked so you could not open the door(only opens about 2 inches). We asked the front desk to give us a room on the second floor with a balcony so we could go outside to smoke cigarettes. We CLEARLY told the employee that we smoke and asked if it would be okay to smoke in the balcony and he said yes. We went to the new room and had a plastic cup to throw the cigarette butts inside because we weren't going to throw it out of the balcony and trash the hotel. Anyways, we stayed there for 3 nights and the day we checked out, they slid a paper under the room door saying the total amount for my stay. About 5 hours later I checked my account and I see they charged me an extra $284. I called them to find out that they charged me for smoking in the room( which we DIDN'T) so I left a voicemail for the general manager(Christopher Jones). He emailed me letting me know that the fees will not be refunded. After going back and forth with him and explaining that there was no smoking in the room, no cigarette ashes anywhere, no burns anywhere he still will not refund. This place is ridiculous. If you're employees don't know the job or the correct information then GET NEW PEOPLE TO WORK THERE!! I will never return back to this place. I can't believe I had to pay $285 for having cigarette butts inside a plastic cup that we used as an ashtray. Your customers should always come first and you should get down to the bottom with your employee on why they give wrong information for their customers to be charged this much. The smoking fee is almost the price I paid for my whole 3 night stay. I would have rather spent that money at a better hotel.
