  • My son started Scottsdale Weight Loss Center 16 weeks ago, and it has been a great experience from day one. He is 13 years old, and we were referred to them by his pediatrician due to his weight and family history of diabetes and high blood pressure. This was not a decision we took lightly, however from day one all the staff have been wonderful. This is not a cheap or easy program, but they are very upfront about all of this. Dr. Ziltzer and all the staff are fantastic. The 1st thing Dr. Z did was fire us (mom and dad) as the "food police." He gave our son the ownership for his own choices. The classes that are part of the program have been great for both of us, as I get to go with him. The staff all seem to have a true vested interest in his success and encourage him along the way. They are a great support system. I would recommend this program to anyone who is ready to get the help they need.
