I was recently in a car accident and luckily enterprise was right there next door to the collision center I was towed to. I had to wait about 20 or so minutes before being helped and after being in a car accident that wasn't my fault, I was not in the mood to pay for anything. Luis was very polite and patient with me. Luckily they did have a car I was comfortable with driving but my major complaint is that the a/c stopped working after a few days. It also smelled like someone had been smoking in there which irritated my allergies and with the a/c problem I was forced to drive around with the windows down the entire time, so I ended up hating the rental car which put more stress on me as Gaudin Ford took their sweet time to fix mine (almost 4 weeks).
When returning the rental, Luis was working again and helped me check out. I was pretty upset with his complaint that the car was "covered in pet hair". I understood him when he told me "no pets in the car" during the check in process but I was never told there would be a $100 fee if I "was smoking or had pets in the car" he just said "no pets no smoking".
Now I work as a Pet Sitter and in a Vet Clinic plus I have 3 dogs of my own. I do my best to use a lint roller all the time but I do tend to be covered and travel with things that are covered in dog hair. I explained this to him a few times in a few different ways and a few minutes later he agreed to keep my $50 deposit and call it a day. Which was nice because there was no way I was paying a fee to have them detail the car when I was happy to do it myself. I understand people are allergic to dogs but they also needed to understand they gave me a car that smelled like smoke, was covered in stains and the a/c stopped working two days later, least they could do was give me that $50 back but I settled with letting them keep it and call it a day myself.
Overall, will I return to enterprise? Maybe. Will I return to this location? Only if it's convenient.
