I scheduled my three year old Dachshund to stay here for 3 days while I went to Mexico. I told them on the phone and in person multiple times that I'm not going to have cell service and will not be able to be contacted. I brought a friend with me and gave them all him information to be the point of contact. I explained very clearly, that he would be the one picking her up because I'm going to be getting back past pick-up hours. I asked if I needed to pay now to avoid any issues (as I would not be the one to pick her up) and they said no. I said okay, any more forms I need to fill out? Nope.
The employee at the desk said she would be nervous leaving her dog anywhere even there, the place she works at.
I filled out the paper work and left. About two hours later, while I was on the road they called to say it turns out my dog doesn't have one of the shots she needs to stay there. It will be $20 for the shot and $50 for the exam. Gee you couldn't have told me that while I still had time to take her to her actual vet?
Fast forward to pick up time and they put my friend through the ringer to be able to pick her up. It wasn't allowed. I didn't fill out the client intake form, which they didn't give me. I need to pay before they can release her (I asked this, and they said it wasn't an issue). And so on causing problems. Eventually I found a spot to connect to wifi and I was able to send him my payment information.
In addition, I asked for her nails to be trimmed while she was there and that just didn't happen.
Would not give my dog to these people again, clearly they don't even have their basic administration needs covered.
