  • I was not going to even post anything about my visit to Tempe Chrysler, but after reading the other reviews decided to add my experience. I hate buying cars and have been spoiled to purchase them my uncle who owns a Ford dealership in another state, so I know how a professional and upstanding car dealership operates. From the moment, I decided to purchase a Jeep wrangler unlimited from your dealership the experience was madding. We came into the dealership to purchase a specific vehicle and knew exactly what we wanted and had done significant research on the price we wanted to pay. The correspondence was through email, but we were asked to come in person by one of the managers so they could "make us a deal". We did not want to play the car game and be in the dealership for hours, which is exactly what transpired. We were there for almost an hour arguing with 3 different "manager's" about the posted online pricing for the car. The dealing felt shady from the beginning and we only purchased the car from Tempe because inventory was very limited on the model I wanted. This is just the abbreviated version of the nonsense we endured. Tint and nitrogen were to be added after I took possession of the vehicle (even though I didn't want it, but was told it had to be added) so I brought it back for service, hoping to put the initial experience behind me and hopefully have a great interaction so that I could continue service and maintenance there, since I live very close to the dealership. I asked if I could have the name of a service manager to set up ongoing service with someone and I was told "they don't really do that here". The Jeep was filthy when I picked it up and the inside had been left in disarray, but I didn't find that out until after I had scheduled one last service with your dealership. Regrettably, and out of convenience to my home, I didn't cancel the new service request and added an expensive option giving your dealership more money that it didn't deserve. I was stunned that a dealership could continue to provide such appalling customer service more than once. When I came to pick up the Jeep, I was told by the front desk that my car would be brought up to the front service entrance. However, an employee came to the door and asked me if I had a wrangler and proceeded to hand me my keys and told me I would find it in the parking lot. With that level of customer service, I went out to test the new option since I had little to no faith in the dealership or the service department at that point and without instruction I was not able to get it to work. So, I unlocked the dirty vehicle (which was left disgusting by the window tinting folks at the dealership a few days prior) to find all the plastic and paper floor mats still inside with a screwdriver wedged in between my brand-new leather seats. Every other car I have ever had serviced at a dealership (Luxury or not) has been washed, at least the exterior when I go to pick it up, mine was not. I removed the screwdriver and trash from my vehicle and headed back up to the service entrance and stood at the desk while the two young kids at the front glared into their cell phones not noticing me. Finally, one of the kids looked up and I started to explain that the new option wasn't working and they just stared at me blankly........ Jessica (who was the only person with any redeemable qualities) came out of her office and noticed I was there. I told her I was not able to get the automatic start to engage and I also handed her the screwdriver that I found wedged in my seat, she apologized and took the Jeep back to service to get it looked at again. She brought the Jeep back up after about 10 mins and showed me how to use the new keys. I purchased a new BMW a few years ago that cost much less than this Jeep wrangler unlimited and I received markedly better service than this all around. The best way to describe your dealership is sloppy and unprofessional. This will be the last time I purchase a car from your dealership or a non-luxury dealership for that matter, the price you pay to be treated with some respect and customer service is well worth the extra expense.
