  • Restaurant-only review: Great amicable service with a modern lounge meets cottage ambiance. A safe bet if you need a place to chill with friends over a few drinks. The food was average at best unfortunately. Alas, we visited the restaurant for Toronto's Summerlicious season-a hit and miss affair. Not that it's a valid excuse for mediocrity given the slimmed menu. We're talking about excessive use of truffle oil, randomly placed raw spinach, impractical plating, overcooked pastas, watery separated sauces, hard stale bread, broken risotto, and pastry with too much baking soda. Their one saving grace was a perfectly cooked red snapper, despite the afterthoughts that were the other ingredients on the plate.
