It's laughable to me that Golden Buddha is located in "Phoenix's Chinatown". Didn't know that a little strip mall is considered Chinatown. But whatever.
The dim sum here is just ok. It's been touted as THE BEST in the valley, and I don't think it is. It's definitely pricier, but that doesn't mean anything. The wait is always ridiculously long, and as an Chinese American woman, I'm a bit insulted by the hostesses/waitresses dressed in "traditional" Chinese cheong-sams. Can we PLEASE not promote the sexual objectification of Asian women in "traditional" garb? UGH. A plus - it's really clean and "upscale" looking inside. Plus, the fat buddha in front is kinda fun.
