| - UPDATED REVIEW: Heidi Kelbar PA-C and Dr. Pritchard are rockstars and I am happy
With the care they've given me. This 2 star update is for billing. In the past 2 years, I have had 2 babies under their care. I've always paid my balances and don't dispute paying for my services. I pay $800/month for private insurance but still had a $2000 balance after giving birth to my newest son. I called billing to work out a payment plan and submit a payment. I thought we had worked out a short plan to eliminate the balance HOWEVER I called today to schedule an IUD insert (100% preventative service covered by insurance and validated by law) and they refuse to see me until I pay the entire balance. Which won't be until November under my payment plan. So now, not only am I paying them $500/mo, which sucks, but they won't even provide me with paid for contraceptive care. I have always diligently paid my bills from them and feel like this is unfair. BE AWARE: IF YOU HAVE ANY BALANCES WITH THEM AFTER GIVING BIRTH, THEY WONT GIVE YOU CONTRACEPTIVE CARE, or see you at all for that matter.
We ALMOST always receive excellent care from the Val Vista location. Professional office, clear billing records, as well as knowledgable staff and providers. Dr. Pritchard and PA-C Heidi Kelbar have exceeded my expectations. Very Thorough, thoughtful, honest, kind and direct are among these two providers outstanding qualities and we are never disappointed with them. I always leave feeling relieved and happy about pregnancy and our first child.
HOWEVER...Today Heidi and Dr Pritchard were unavailable so we took an appointment with an available provider and were so disappointed. Do not schedule your appointment with NP Cindy Udall. She lacks bedside manners, was rude and passive during my 28 week visit, rushed and seemed to avoid answering questions I had asked. Our conversation with her sounded scripted and vague. Pregnancy and your first child is exciting and this visit should have been a wonderful mile stone but I left the office sad instead. Avoid seeing this provider is possible.
