Oh my god.
Apparently this place has been open in one form or another since 1915. We got two cups and two cones of some of the best ice cream I've ever put in my mouth and it cost us the princely sum of $10.
Chocolate peanut butter ripple was unreal - honest to god ripples of fresh peanut butter that melted in your mouth, big fat chocolate chips, and delicious chocolate ice cream. The mint chocolate chip was the mintiest ice cream I've ever tried, and the Almond Joy flavor? Wow.
Seriously, this place justifies the existence of the entire city of Gastonia. I just wish there was some way I could ensure that a half-gallon would survive the trip back to Atlanta.
Clearly, next time I come up here, I'm bringing a cooler full of dry ice.
