  • 3.5 stars for me. I finally purchased my coffee passport here, and the barista made me feel guilty when I asked if I could just use my passport as soon as I purchased it. "But can't you use that the next time you come" he asked me. "Oh yeah I guess I could" was my reply. :s After having visited some other independent coffee establishments in recent times (thank you Yelp!) and having been here a couple of times, I don't think this compares to the best of the lot, their menu like mentioned here before is on a medium sized screen and it does not even display all they have to offer. The baristias always seemed to give me the feeling that serving me was a secondary task they had to do as they were busy with some other stuff, which I think is the problem of having half the store dedicated to selling coffee apparel from bodum as far as I could see. And with "Beanery" in it's name I thought it would offer better prices, not too expensive, but certainly not inexpensive either. I will visit again as after trying out their shortbread chocolate chip cookies I certainly want to give their food items more of a chance. I've got a latte and mocha here and neither blew me away, but certainly good enough for repeat visits.
