| - I organized a meetup at the Ale Asylum, and just as a heads up, they do not accept reservations. This means they don't care if you have a group, they will do nothing in preparation. We had to put tables together for ourselves, and since there was no host, we had to direct people to our table.
Service was good, and I was amazed that our waiter managed to get everyone served, even as they came in staggered.
The food...the food was not good. It would have been one thing if my food wasn't good, but every person at the table shrugged their shoulders and said, "Meh'. Burgers are served pink or no pink, which apparently means raw or done. I upgraded for an extra $1 to get bean dip, and it had no flavor at all. None. We got the pepperoni and salami flatbread pizza to share, and it had no salami.
It's a beer place, and I don't drink beer, yet I had 2 cider ale's that I enjoyed. It's a good place for meeting a couple people for drinks. But eat first!
