  • This was the best time I had in downtown Vegas. We were downtown and a bartender suggested this new indoor golf entertainment. Craft food and drinks combined with cool golf games sounded like something I have never experienced. Turns out, it was great! It was a 2 minute cab ride from Freemont street, and when we entered the lobby it was decorated like a golf course pro shop with a cheery gal behind the counter who quickly set us up in our own private golf suite. There are a ton of games to choose from and they cater to all golf abilities. I am a lousy golfer, and my wife doesn't golf - yet we had a blast. We started playing darts - turning the 20' screen into this giant dart board. You hit a golf ball into the screen and high tech sensors and cameras pick up the ball and recognize where it hits the screen. The result is a very realistic "darts" experience using a golf club. So neat. I wanted to check out a "real" course that I could never actually play, so my wife ate some sliders and had her mojito, while I played the front nine at Pebble Beach. Holy crap. Its photo-realistic golfing. The ocean is breaking on the rocks and birds are chirping and trees are blowing in the wind. The ball seemed to behave very realistically. I tend to slice right, and sure enough the ball would turn right. An on-site golf pro (Jim I think) actually made some suggestions like not gripping so tight, and sure enough I was keeping it much straighter. I can't wait to take that knowledge onto the actual course. I guess the place is brand new, so there wasn't very many people there. That was a bonus to me, as I get tired of the crowds. A private golf suite with hours of entertainment and food and drinks in downtown Las Vegas for under $200 for my wife and I was such a great deal. I would highly suggest anyone visiting Las Vegas (or the locals too I guess) check out this cool entertainment venue.
