  • My dog passed away Saturday evening 24 hours after the vets put him on two new medications one called zydaclin for swelling of the gums which have zero risks of death said the vet and phenobarbital for pain which also have no death risk the vet said. The vet also said he is very healthy given his gums so no serious risks should come about the vet said. He has a heart murmur the vet said but the medication won't alter his heart the vet said he doesn't seem to have liquid in his lungs does he cough the vet asked yes I said not horribly but often. He's healthy the vet said no risks when taking this medication just the occasional loss of appetite nausea. So why did I find him on the floor bleeding from his mouth dying ? A day after our visit and a day of taking this medication if he was so healthy
