  • 3 THINGS: 1) Zappone's Italian Bistro's serving staff is top notch; They are efficient and fluid with their techniques. i.e. Our server was very respectful of our large family group at Mothers Day brunch and was receptive to re-filling half-filled glasses with jaguar-like stealthiness as not to interrupt our conversation during an already overly-busy day....huge kudos for doing that. 2) I'm a self-proclaimed salad connoisseur. The Italian Chopped Salad is off the charts. We are talking a finely chopped dark green romaine salad...none of that cheap light green salad...also it is chopped 1 cm x 1 cm on average. FINE! Mix in equally finely chopped Italian salami, fresh mozzarella, olives, red peppers, drizzled with a fine red wine vinaigrette. I only wish I took a photo before I inhaled this salad. Good sized salad too. 3) I'm sure the other entrees are as good as their Italian Chopped Salad which means I can't wait to go back to try their Spicy Italian Calzone.
