There are several reasons to pick this place. It's quiet and a bit off the beaten path. This may be a negative for some people. You don't have to walk a long way through a casino from the parking lot to your room. The suites have two bedrooms and a pullout sofa in the living room. A full kitchen allows easy cooking, which was key for a family member with food allergies. The fitness center is nice. The pool, while maybe not impressive by Vegas standards, is great. There's a game room with a pool table. It's easy to get coffee in the morning at the store. If you sit through a time share presentation, it's also very inexpensive. The service was excellent.
In summary, it's a nice hotel. There is nothing uniquely Vegas about it, though, if that's what you're after.
