  • Best place in the universe to people watch, especially if you like watching angry muttering people on line. Staff moves with the speed of drug addled sea turtles. Best day was when the clerk decided to go get something in the back and left the customer standing there for half an hour. He was still standing there when I left, too tired to weep or fight back. I'm sometimes mystified why nobody has jumped the counter and started whacking people in a fit of impotent rage. Today was amazing - I came in at 11:30 and the line went almost to the door. People that came in after that looked at the line and just despaired. They knew they were to die at the post office today, they knew it. I just laughed quietly and left.
