  • So my boyfriend really likes this place. I was rather so-so on it. Side note: we were just hanging out, not there to see a show. It was a super nice weekend weather-wise and when it's like that, I'd honestly rather be outside. HOB was a little dark inside for my taste, considering the super bright day outside, but I digress. We did hit this place before a show (we were in town for MGMT) and got some food. My boyfriend ordered the steak salad, which was PHENOMENAL, and I had shrimp street tacos, which were SPICY AS F*CK - but rather delicious. The bartenders were really the ones who made/saved the whole experience. We ended up back at HOB after the MGMT show and it was the same two ladies. They shared some really funny stories about things that have happened at HOB and, for one of them, stories of days as a roadie.
