| - I just tried to order a cpap mask. I've tried many, as the provider recognized in my records. However, they don't carry the Dream Wear by Resipronics. I had bought one from Cpap.com and tried it. It comes with fitting instructions and different size nose pieces for a correct fit. This is the most current new design and rated 4-1/2 stars by 174 people after only a few months on the market. Best fitting mask I ever had!
I was told that HHU doesn't carry it! Of course, this has always been a gripe of mine. They only carry a few and us Cpap users have to suffer, from outdated and ill-fitting masks. What they have in stock. The operator wanted to tell me that, aside from not carrying it, I would have to be fitted. In my opinion, the staff there doesn't do anymore than say, "you need size whatever, because I have been fitting them for years and I know". That's there fitting process!
I've been using cpap for over twenty years and know how a mask should fit! I don't need them to tell me what I need or how to put it on. I only go to them because the Government of the USA has a contract with them and I can't order from the far more competent CPAP.COM because of this. Just plain stupid. I can get it without fuss, get all of the information I need and get it within a day or two, as they ship to my house the next day, without the constant frustration I have to deal with using HHU. They also have regular sales, so I can save even more.
The better service is worth the $85 it costs for the mask and I don't have to feel guilty about not using HHU's overpriced, incompetent service. And the government doesn't have to process all of that info and deal with it. HUU employees are snotty people who seem to think that customers don't know anything. They always act controlling and less than accommodating.
I won't use their service again. It wastes too much of my time and I can't get what I want without hassle.
