I came on a Sunday night after dinner with a group of friends at around 8pm
There wasn't a lot of bread left, but the cake varieties was still plentiful. The cake offerings are very pretty in the shelf. There was ample seating at the restaurant which was perfect for a small get together.
I ordered a black forest cake, green tea mousse black sesame chiffon cake and a roasted grass jelly milk tea. We were dining in and it cakes were packaged in a box, I should note that they gave us the wrong green tea cake so if we were getting those to go, we'd be very bummed out when we got home.
The bubble tea was your typical chatime quality, always on point. The green tea cake was nice, mousse was light, not too sweet but nothing too memorable. The black forest cake however was atrocious. The chocolate cake was dry, you can taste some hints of some liquor in it but it didn't go well with the cream or cake. There was hardly anything in the filling other than whipping cream. I was very disappointed by both cakes considering their price point. I think the quality is comparable to T & T cakes but I expected more from them.
I did enjoy how our group were able to spend some time there with a card game and it didn't have restrictions like some other bubble tea places.
