I love the ambiance. It is a small little place- it has a ma and pop type feel to it, which I love because it is not a chain or trendy. It is just a little place with some delicious home cooked soul food.
The staff are very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. They make you feel comfortable as if you are visiting a friend or family member's home. The food is amazingly good!! My spouse and I have visited 2 times so far and have yet to be disappointed. We got the fried chicken both times and all I can say is -- it is on point!!!!! Juicy and crisp :-) The mac and cheese was my fave. The greens are to die for and a must try. The red beans are some of the best that i've ever had. And the cabbage - YUM. I recommend finishing off with the peach cobbler which is a deliciously sweet way to end your meal.
Note---- We were informed that Sunday's after church are busy days and they have a tendency to run out of greens and depending on what people are craving that day some of the other sides may run out as well.
