  • Recently I bought a car from the Sahara CarMax. My experience with the buying process and with the car was better than any other car purchase I have made. I believe that one of the things that made a big difference in the whole experience was that I had thoroughly researched the car I wanted before I went to CarMax. I knew what make I wanted so I looked at their inventory online for about a week. I compared models, year, mileage, extras, and prices of their inventory with other dealers in town and in CA. Once I got to CarMax I knew of a couple of cars I wanted to test drive. The salesman was really easy to work with and did not try to "sell" me to any other cars except the ones I wanted to see. The whole experience went easily and efficiently. I also got a good price for my trade-in. Today I took the car to a mechanic who said it is in excellent condition. He also told me that the CarMax warranty is the only one he likes to work with because the others draw out the whole experience and it's 50/50 whether or not they'll pay. He says with the CarMax warranty repairs are easily approved even with expensive ones. Would definitely recommend CarMax to friends or relatives. Am thrilled with the car and the price. Nothing comparable anywhere in town.
