  • We love Pizza Brutta. It's a cozy neighborhood place that's great to eat in or take out. It's also great for kids (and there are usually a lot of them there). Their neapolitan pizza is pretty good - the best we've had in Madison. Definitely get the bufala mozzarella instead of their standard mozzarella - there's a huge difference. My husband and I normally get the bufala mozzarella margherita pizza. I also love the cremini pizza, which is a white pizza with cremini mushrooms and caramelized onions. I only wish the caramelized onions were truly caramelized and not just grilled. They usually have a few local beers available. And, there are kids pizzas available too.
