This place has great food! This place is a staple for a working lunch but I don't know why more people don't come here at night.
I was there mid week around 8 and the place was almost empty. Two friends and I ate at the bar because it was a little too quiet in the dining room. I've been coming here for 10-15 years and the bartenders are always great.
Martinis to start. Big honest.
Caesar. Parmesan bowl. Killer croutons. Anchovies on request. Awesome.
The bartender recommended the lasagna with a side of homemade sausage. Un fn believable! So so so good. Cheesy. Lots of meat sauce. Home made pasta.
I've had almost every main dish and have never been disappointed. The pasta dishes are perfectly al dente and the chicken veal dishes are perfectly cooked with excellent sauces. The service is old school and always excellent.
The decor is a little dated but that's the only negative.
