| - Very negative experience here with both medical and office staff. I was a patient here for nearly a year, and at first it was tolerable, but my last experience here was so negative, I will not be a returning costumer.
There was one main office employee that I dealt with regularly. I had so many negative experiences with this employee, I nearly called to speak to her manager. Calling to make an was so painful as she REGULARLY would ask to put me on hold because "We are just so busy and the phones are ringing like crazy. Can I call you back?" HOURS would pass with no return phone call. SHE CONSTANTLY blamed her in ability to return phone calls or address me as a costumer on how busy the she was. It appeared more to me she did not value me as a patient or a costumer.
Most of the time, I saw the NP. She was somewhat casual in her professionalism and made comments about my attire that I did not appreciate (Made me feel very inferior to her very fashionable attire), but overall listened and was compassionate and receptive.
At 12 weeks pregnant I scheduled an appointment here and saw the MD. VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE with this man. On my first appointment with him (we had never met before and he knew nothing about me), rather than address my medical questions and complaints, he addressed my "anxiety". Within the first 5 minutes, rather than take my concerns seriously, he said "You seem like you are a very anxious individual. I think this is more a matter of anxiety than anything." I tried to explain that my anxiety was more because I hate going to the doctor at all. He agreed to run some labs, which he made it clear he was doing only to satisfy me and seemed fairly bothered by it at all.
The previously mentioned office employee told me she would call me with the results, as I was moving 60 miles away. After 3 weeks, she had not called me. I even called twice and left a voice mail. Finally, I called her, and she again said "We have just been so busy. I haven't been able to call". The employee relayed to me the results, several which were abnormal, indicating I had an infection and specific allergy. After 3 WEEKS this information was finally communicated to me. Not very prompt medical care.
Overall- I would not return here. MD did not address my concerns professionally. He jumped to conclusions within 5 min of knowing me and was blindsided to what I was actually telling him. Office staff/employee proved to be consistently disappointing, costumer service skills were just awful. NP was the best of my experiences here.
