| - Came here for tapas with my mom and brother on a Sunday night. We ordered 7 tapas to split between us. The service was slow and a bit... ditsy...
A couple items we ordered didn't exactly match the description on the menu... For example: the Eggplant Frites had no balsamic vinegar...
Our artisanal cheeses were served with tiny hard pieces of pita bread, weird.
When we received the "warm bread it with butter" tapa, we got the some boring and COLD pita bread that was served with the cheese. Beyond that, they gave us about 15x the amount of butter that could fit on the pita they served us. The waitress who served the tapas explained the types of butter, but after trying them we realized she didn't actually know what she was serving because she clearly described the wrong flavors.
Back to the cold pita that was served... When the waitress finally returned, I asked if she could have the pita warmed, after all, the tapa is called "warm" bread and butter, right? When she brought the pita back, it had been deep fried.. WHAT? When we talked to the waitress about our disappointment she seemed flustered and then admit to us that she agreed it was weird to serve pita with the cheese but they were out of the crackers (we weren't even referring to the how weird it was to get pita with the cheese plate at this point) and then she continued to ask us if we wanted her to serve the bread that was supposed to come with the bread and butter... She then brought us out some cold, but real bread. Still not sure why this wasn't served in the first place...
In summary:
Service: Terrible
Food: Pretty good, despite the fee makes that chef made
Atmosphere: Very nice! You can choose to sit in a casual area or a dining room
Prices: Pretty expensive for the amount of food you're getting
