  • I was beyond excited to finally try wahlburgers and i purposely waited for the hype to die down because i hate long lines for food. We ended up there before an Browns game and it ended up being packed. End of August the weather was still a bit warm, inside was nice and air conditioned but we ended up sitting in the back outside of the bar. BIG mistake. I thought i was gonna die of overheating. Not sure why they had an outside bar area and didnt think to put some fans out there for circulation jesus. Even the poor bartender was sweating bullets, her shirt literally soaked. She was nice through it all though, however, the way the bar is situated it had seats on the end near where the other waiters/waitresses do the checks and you can overhear the horrid conversations some of the staff have. For example, on this particular day, they were getting packed and this waitress with blonde hair and some tatts was blatantly saying " i wish these f*king people would leave my table i cant deal with them anymore" and then she started talking about her fellow employees to another employee and they were very rude and open about it. The manager needs to address her ASAP. ANyway on to the food. The burger, i ended up getting a fiesta burger medium well and some onion rings. The burger was a little on the rare side for me, i purposely asked for medium well but they fell short on the mark. The burger was decent, a bit sloppy for me, the bun got soggy from the salsa, the cheese wasnt fully melted it was kind of a slop. The onion rings were the highlight, a single order is enough to feed two, and it comes with this awesome dipping sauce. We were engaged with some hand crafted beer from local brewerys which was awesome because now i have a new beer to guzzle lol. The waitress again was nothing short of awesome, despite her burning behind the bar she maintained a smile and did her job perfect. A couple of things for the owners/manager: If your staff isnt happy theres a quick fix, find new staff. Get fans for the outdoor bar area because newsflash if they are sitting outside its most likely summertime. Teach your cooks the difference between rare and cooked because thats a health code violation waiting to happen and PLEASE consider your seating arrangements. it was a bit tight in the actual inside dining area, almost impossible to pass people.
