rev:text	* Update * NOBODY still has contacted me which I am not surprised. I would like to State for the record that the price of these apartments went up however... the gate has not worked in MONTHS. It's suppose to be a gated community. It's also suppose to be a smoke free community .. yet the new ( and extremely noisy) neighbors across from me are outside smoking all the time. When I have my windows open .. my bedroom and my living room wreak of smoke. Also... I get paid on the 1st. I'm a single mom working 4 Jobs. I live check to check . So I have to pay a HUGE late fee EVERY month. I usually pay online about 5am on the 2nd and I'm hot with a HUGE late fee. So heads up if you move here. * Update . As you can see from this post . Someone posted that they would get back to me. I would like to State for the record the NOBODY contacted me or even tried to reach. It does not surprise me at all. If you're debating about living here... here's plenty of facts below to read through. This complex does not care what's going on here nor do they care about their customer service. My Review * I've lived here for about 5 years. I CAN NOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT! A slew of issues. The biggest complaint I have is my rent going up (significantly) supposedly because of "renovations". However, nothing has been changed to my apartment. It's was riddled with issues when I moved in and they gave me a discount because of it. Now my rent is raised ... same problems... but supposedly it's because of "renovations". Besides the entry way and a new office ... I'm not sure why my rent would be raised so much. It's a gated community where the gates rarely works. It's wide open 24/7. It's suppose to be smoke free and it is definitely NOT smoke free. Even some of the people that work here have been seen smoking on the premises. Constant water leaks with a water bill that has doubled since I've moved in. TWICE in the past 4 months or so ... they have had issues with the website ( which you pay rent through) and when I went down to the office to find out what I owed .. I was given the wrong total TWICE! Then they had the audacity to tell me that I owed more money plus a late fee for not having the accurate amount. YES... i wish I was kidding. When I renewed my lease this year ... they forgot to put my information through. So the system was telling me that I didn't live there! That was a mess. The insulation in these apartments are horrible! In the winter I pay around $140 for APS. Once the air kicks on my bill sky rockets to around $325!! I've had them come out multiple times to check my air unit and what not. The first time maintenance told me to put " shower curtains in my arch ways up stairs to help with the heat not getting in " YES shower curtains. Like I'm going to hang shower curtains in my living room that i pay around $1100 a month for. The second time they someone else come out.. they said there was nothing wrong with my unit. The third time someone came out they sent a different company. After having 4 men in my bathroom looking through the vents and chuckling ... they found a HUGE Beer bottle shoved in my bathroom vent! They said bit looked like it had been there for years! When I told management .. they just said " wow" "unbelievable" There was a sorry. There wasn't a .. what can we do to make this right. Nothing Recently someone left a litter box full of kitty litter and feces with a cat at our front door. Obviously someone bailed and left this poor cat. When I contacted the office. They basically told me I would have to deal with the litter and clean it up and there was nothing they could do about the cat. When I first moved in it was a nice complex. I had great neighbors around me. Now it's gone downhill. Drunken fights in the parking lot, screaming & yelling until cops come, loud disrespectful neighbors. Even as I type this neighbors are moving out and have parked their HUGE moving van diagonally in my drive way ..blocking my garage. No heads up... nothing. I've discussed all of this with the office .. I've emailed the corporate office ( no response) , I've called every number available ... I get the same song and dance. They all act like everything is out of their hands and there is a lot of shoulder shrugging and fiber pointing. Nothing gets handled and if it does finally get handled it's much later than sooner. With all the structural damage, water issues, a lengthy time for construction of the office area, non working gates, miss communication in the office, not to mention the year of construction happening out front ( which is a city issue).. I can not wait to move out. It's been a horrible experience.
