Getting my nails done here for past several times has really been hit or miss (mostly miss) depending on the staff member assigned to me.
Perhaps it is because the staff are entirely discontent with where they are in life or because they're not happy that the salon is not a bit busier but that has little to nothing to do with a service rendered on my nails.
Just thinking about this incident today infuriates me because now I'm just left with some thick ass acrylic nails that I paid $55 for that I originally did not want at all.
I asked Kevin to help me remove my acrylic and he said it would be $10 for removal ... Okay? I've never had a place charge me that much for removal - but that's fine I guess? So basically he pressured me into staying with getting a fill and gel and filled my nails to the friggin brim because if not it's an extra ten dollars? Now I just look like my nails and fingers have become one... It's UGLY.
I'm getting it removed tomorrow. As if that wasn't bad enough his attitude was terrible the entire time I asked if he could help me with a manicure and of course he reminded me it was another $5 but I mean I can understand that - it's really the tone of your voice and the way you say things... If it's busy, I can understand why you'd be upset if I ask for another service.
But if you're already complaining to me - a random customer about how slow it is in your salon why are you making it seem like I'm pulling your teeth just getting some services out of you that I'm obviously willing to pay for.
Needless to say even though this place is right next to my house I will NEVER EVER be coming here again. Today was really the last chance I gave this establishment and it's such a shame because the venue is so nice.
And P.S. to the owner Tyler, please stop being creepy and asking ladies if they want a wax or a massage - they don't. You're going to give your little Asian girlfriend a heart attack one of these days.
