| - If you're going to watch a Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas, "LOVE" at Mirage or 'O' at Bellagio are the only two that I would recommend.
This show is definitely a visual and auditory treat -- so much to look at and the music is sensational. If you are a Beatles fan, you will "LOVE" it. Even if you are not, it's quite the spectacle.
I don't want to take away from anyone's first time experience by offering any spoilers -- however, it is pretty much like most of the other cirque shows: music, acrobatics, awkward comic reliefs, conceptual themes, and creative costumes & makeup.
One of the biggest questions I had when I was looking to book this show was where I should sit. Is it really worth spending $198.00 per person? Honestly. No. Not because it's not a great show, but I don't consider those seats the best ones in the house.
First of all, it's a circle theater, which means, unless you get a seat with "limited" or "obstructed" view, you can see most, if not everything, that's happening on stage. However, the best seats are not the ones closest to the stage, nor is it the most expensive ones. My favorite place to sit is in the upper half of any of the 200s sections (200, 201, 202, 203, etc.) The lower half of the 200s are expensive -- however once you start looking at rows N, O, P, S, etc, the prices are no longer the 198, but $143: these are the best seats in the house.
Without revealing too much, there's a part of the show in which a show prop is extended into the audience. If you sit too close to the stage, you will miss my favorite part of the show.
As always, this is MY suggestion and experience. Of course if you are closer to the performers, you can see the costumes a lot better, but honestly 198 is a lot of money to just look at costumes.
Maybe I'm biased because I am a Beatles fan, but I never leave this show disappointed and always manage to get the song "Hey Jude" stuck in my head for the rest of the night.
