  • Here is my response to butterfly wonderland: I would think some retraining the retail staff would be in order. I understand I didn't have my receipt in the bathroom when I was in the middle of washing my daughters hands and the ball. I would appreciate more an apology from said staff who accused me publicly of stealing in front of other ladies in the bathroom to myself and my daughter in front of all the retail staff. I was not informed I needed my receipt and the staff who I bought my ball from didn't inform me as I signed my credit card receipt before leaving the gift shop with my daughter to go back into the exhibit. If that is policy wouldn't that staff tell me that as I'm signing my receipt or offer me a bag which she didn't. The staff whom I bought it from had time while I signed my receipt to tell me these things which she definitely didn't tell me I needed my receipt with a purchase especially without a bag if that is your policy? Some retraining about that may be helpful to avoid another situation like this. The staff who tried to chase me down into the bathroom should have checked with other staff. Most people who are stealing something don't go further into an building and not one without an exit. She publicly and purposely humiliated me in front of others when she was in the wrong and then didn't even come to apologize I had to seek her and the staff who I bought the ball from apologized to me first. I don't care to utilize my hard earned money at your place and I would reconsider if I felt validity of your staff's retraining on what to say to someone which isn't accusing them of stealing, that once your staff found out from the staff whom I bought the ball from she should have seeked me out and apologized profusely. But no she waited for me to come find her and ask if she had talked to the staff and have that staff whom I bought the ball from apologize first and then her apology which was Muttered. It's things like that which may need to be discussed with all retail staff and an public apology from your staff to me and my daughter would help me feel better about those situation and want to recommend this place to others. But as it is now I will not be back and I will be glad to not recommend it to others because of your retail staff. I am continuing to email anyone higher up about my experience in the retail part of the butterfly wonderland
