| - I had done my research and was seeking a dessert place that would wow me. And it certainly did. We had to venture out of the city lights for this gem, but it was well worth it. I had read the original chef had left an older gelato location, and dug to find that they had opened this place - so of course, I had to come here. I love dessert. And I love gelato more.
The employees were extremely personable and very helpful. We had fortunately beat the rush, so I got to sample some before the line started snaking out the door. And it will get crowded quickly because of the small space. You'll feel like you need to quickly place an order to make sure you have a little table to enjoy your gelato at. They don't have much seating, but if the weather is nice, I'm sure it would be enjoyable outdoors. However, it was on the chillier side when we went.
I don't recall the exact flavors I went with, but you honestly can't go wrong with any of them, depending on your tastes. I have specific flavors I look for when it comes to frozen treats. I like the off-the-beaten path flavors, which Gelatology had plenty of, along with your regular "vanilla" flavors.
Needless to say, I was one happy camper. I would definitely come back, for both the service and gelato!
