For the money, it is difficult to beat the Sahara. It's a great location and plants you right on the strip for a lot less than virtually any other hotel. You know what you're getting when you stay there - a very decent place, but old time Las Vegas and no new glitz.
I've stayed here several times over 8 years and have never been disappointed. I have only had good experiences - parking is easy, getting in and out is a breeze and the location is great. Of course, the inside of the hotel is very clean and nice too.
Everything in the hotel is right by you - food, the casino, monorail and of course, the strip. If you are on a budget, stay here and you'll certainly be pleased as long as you know that it is not incredibly lavish while definitely doing the job.
