| - BEHIND THE SCENES!!!
Greg Cromer was so overly "nice" to all of his clients, I noticed he spent a lot of time talking about himself and his children's accomplishments to all his clients, seemed like he focused less on the health of pets and more about conversation so he appeared like-able. He was succeeding at that attempt as not many could see through it like me and other staff could.
Anyways this is a general idea of what it's like behind the scenes. To get more into depth, I have physically witnessed a worried pet parent come to Greg Cromer upset and confiding in him while he defused the situation and made the client feel more comfortable, but once they left the office he made fun of their "mental instability" and as someone who suffers from some mental illness, I disagree with this behavior. One of the many occasions I have witnessed client bashing.
He won't allow me to drink water in the front lobby. He tells me in a mimicking tone "it's simple you take your water breaks like you take your potty breaks." I said ok. But I had no intentions of risking my health due to some "doctor" comfortable with malpractice. I will drink my water with PRIDE. I suffer extreme low blood pressure and will often faint or slight seize. Yet he carries a coffee mug around every morning leaving it in the patients rooms and all over the clinic near computers and expensive electronic equipment.
One day I was productively organizing files and while a client was around he said "what a great day to be organizing files, good job!" And i felt for once I actually got a compliment from him, a true one. Acknowledged for all the work I do to make the hospital an easier place to work for everyone. Once the client leaves he comes up to me and tells me to stop right now because organizing files is not making "him" any money. I was shocked.
One day I went into his office I asked ONE question. Which required ONE answer. Instead I got, "it would be nice if you said hello, how are you doing, or compliment me, yet instead you bombard me with questions! I don't care about that right now. You're bombarded me. You've done it last week causing me forget to put a stamp on my letter and that's why I came in today. So stop bombarding me, just get out." He came in to do charts lol I'm sure he has plenty mailing stickers at home. *rolls eyes* i haven't been bullied since elementary school so working with Greg has been a pure nightmare.
To be completely honest this isn't all of it. This is what's happened in just a few months and I had left a lot out. We don't get health insurance nor are we provided water, we have to bring our own. The small bottles of water they do have are for clients.
On more than one occasion I've heard loud banging come from the office, I went inside to see Greg with his head in his hands looking upset. He apologized for slamming the desk and explained he lost his temper. That just shows me his instability and puts fear in me for this unstable man.
The day I had finally had enough, June 4th 2018, I recently came into a situation where I am homeless. I came to the owners, Dr. Cromer and Dr. Clack for support and an open ear to any place for rent. They both turned around and in my time of doing poorly financially (company pays minimum wage) and having a dog.. they both decided that while I'm homeless and broke trying to save money for a place they I will need to pay a boarding fee each day I bring my dog.
What gets me is that I work in the kennels so I'm the one taking care of of the boarders. To me, that was a KICK while I was down. I knew this was the last time I will let them disrespect me. I went into Cromers office and confronted him. He agreed that yes i will need to pay for boarding my animal. i asked why to which he replied in the rudest sinister tone "my electricity, my bedding, my food, my water" and i stopped him there to tell him his bedding was all donated and i brought my own food for me dog. He interrupted with "are YOUR trying to argue with ME?" In the tone, voice, and eye contact as if he is the king of this planet deserving everyone to bow down and thank him for his awful existence. I replied with "no I'm quitting" all done. He called my grandma, and harasses me on my cell phone. This lunatic won't go away. Everyone who brings their pets here deserves to know the truth about this monster. ALL employees walk on egg shells around him. He treats them like peasants. He's racists and a bigot. He makes fun of clients when they leave. He is a huge Trump fan and basically every offensive thing our president says, so does Cromer. I would be disgracing myself to continue working for this cruel human being. I am PROUD to have quit! Money is nothing to me when my pride is at risk. Everything I stand for is everything this hospital's owner stands against. His wife is very kind but unfortunately exactly like him.
