  • Zeppe's used to be my go-to pizza place but recipe changes & new management has driven my business away for good. They changed to a thick cut pepperoni. Ick. Pizza pepperoni is supposed to compliment the cheese & crust perfectly. Their pepperoni is the only thing you taste on the pizza. Their prices are too high & you don't get nearly enough for your money. They get 2 stars because the teenager who took my order was so polite and tried very hard to be accommodating....until the owner took over. Bottom line: There are too many other great pizza places in the city to waste time on this one! Try Antonio's across the street by Marc's or Coleone's in downtown Avon.
