I bought my car here a little over 3 years ago. I paid a little extra for the maintenance package for free oil changes and tire rotations, plus multi point inspections. I've since moved to DC but have taken my car back for the free service. I thought they always did a good job until recently. I had my car checked out then a little under 2,000 miles later, I called my fiancé complaining my car was making a screeching sound when I hit the brakes. Turns out I had no brake pads and therefore shot rotors. I had my car towed to a nearby Kia and they deemed it unsafe to drive. Kia also informed me that they noticed I had a sticker about an oil change and were shocked I had no clue I had bad brakes. They said this is not something that happens quickly but occurs over time. A ridiculous amount of money later, my car was safe to drive. I recently was home and had one more free oil change and since I knew my car was perfectly fine, I took it here. The only issue was a burnt out headlight, which I was aware of and planned to replace. Kia did the work and when giving my car back said my tires were great, fluids were topped off, my bulbs all work. I interjected saying no one is burnt out and was told no they checked its fine. I was persistent and when it was checked, low and behold, I was right. They apologized and did the work for free. I mean that was great but this proves they clearly don't check vehicles like they say they do. I'm happy I've contacted my local Kia here in DC area and explained the circumstances and they will be doing maintenance on my car for now on. I will never ever be returning to this place for work!
