Ok so here is the truth from the horses mouth. Nordstoms has, in my opinion, an overly leniant policy on returns and exchanges. Which may seem like a good thing but it' not when it's abused. I was speaking to a woman who works at a Nordstroms and was shopping at Last Chance to apply her employee discount to the heavily marked down merchandise. She explained that a large amount if not the majority of the things you will find are returns and exchanges. So finding something that isn't used and worn especially in the shoe and handbag section is pretty hard. the price is the same for the item regardless of the condition. For example, Vera Wang flats are $70 regardless of how scuffed they are, if they are missing the little rhinstones on the front of one of them, ets, or if you are lucky enough to find them new.
