  • This location moved further west, across the bridge to 146 Lakeshore Rd W about two years ago. It is in the same plaza as Starbucks and Harvey's. When it first opened at it's new location I was less than impressed. I was told that it was the same owners, but different staff. They weren't as friendly, but I continued to go anyways as they always have the coolest pet accessories and the largest selection of wheat free treats for my highly allergic dog (actually though). Due to their insanely high prices, I ended up eventually going elsewhere, but still popped in on occasion to visit the doggie bakery to pick up a little treat for my dog which is very unique and offers a great wheat free selection. I also continued to use their grooming services. Do-Do was wonderful. My dog always came back smelling fantastic, fluffy and looking like a show Austalian Shepherd. He always seemed very happy when I picked him up. Fast forward to May 2015. I see a sign outside claiming new ownership, so I called to confirm my grooming appointment for June 5th (I've been getting my dogs groomed there for 10+yrs). They had no record of the appointment and Do-Do was no longer there. Beyond frustrated, but I tried to be understanding as it seems the change of ownership did not go smoothly. Thankfully the week before a nice young man called and confirmed that they would be able to accommodate my dog's grooming appointment and it would be with Rachel. I was not impressed with how she groomed my dog. He did not look like an Australian Shepherd at all. She cut him so short when I specifically asked for show Aussie grooming and was assured that she knew exactly what she was doing. My dog also appeared extremely excited to leave and wouldn't calm down enough for me to get his harness on which left me a little concerned. The lovely lady at the cash gave him a few treats on his way out and was extremely helpful in helping me choose some wheat free treats. I will most likely go back for the doggie bakery! FYI, grooming for my Australian Shepherd was $85 plus tax.
