Since the sale of Fair Trade Coffee House it has really gone down hill. This place used to be owned by Michelangelo's Coffee House owner and it was pretty good then, aside from some extremely rude employees. Now I won't go here for ANYTHING unless I'm starving to death; in which case I'd get one of their gluten free pumpkin muffins. ONLY if I was really pressed for time. You see, I work about 200 feet from this place at the plasma center; we used to come here all the time-4 times a week for awhile but then employees got ruder, coffee got sour and Smokey tasting, and heaven forbid you ask for something specific; because they made my friend feel like she was really putting them out by asking for an extra shot of espresso and soy in her vanilla latte. She continued to give them her business for a few more weeks but eventually we all got fed up with being treated like an inconvenience instead of a valued customer; have you seen how huge this place is? And it's ALWAYS near empty... get a clue Fair Trade!!!
Until then we are more than happy and willing to walk the five blocks to Michelangelo's Coffee House where we KNOW we'll be treated respectfully and like we are valued.
Besides, the food is incredible at Michelangelo's and their baker?? SLAY!!
