  • This is the best coffee/book spot in charlotte so far that I've found that isn't pretentious, loud, and/or expensive. The staff are always really friendly and the coffee is cheap and good. Even better, there are tons of used books, CDs, DVDs, etc. around to look through and get. I've found an old mariah carey cd as well as a barbara streisand record for my family while my roommate once hit the jackpot and got a bunch of calvin and hobbes books. Sometimes you'll find nothing but that's the fun thing about it. Also there's a habitat for humanity store right next door you can browse through.
