This was the best dining experience I had while visiting the Madison area. It is a tapas bar, but I should note that it is not Spanish cuisine but more like a fusion of different cuisines. We came with group of 10 and at first I thought that would not work out with the sharing. It actually worked out great and everyone ended up with full and happy bellies. Here is my ratings of the dishes we tried.
Absolute Must try:
-Sea bass and scallops: my favorite of all, delicious and perfectly cooked. It is also the most expensive dish on the menu ($28) and probably least appropriate for sharing with a large group since it's only 2 scallops and a very small piece of fish.
-Calamari fries: best calamari ever!! not the round and chewy calamri you might be used to, this was very tender and yummy.
-Hanger steak: great and served with risotto.
-Blackened mahi-mahi: this was the favorite of the table, we had to order an extra since we wanted more
-Ahi Poke: very refreshing and satisfying if you like seaweed and raw tuna
Also very good:
-Thai chicken pizza
-Chicken skewers
-Fries
-Crab cake (very small and you only get 2, though)
Stay away:
-Gnocchi and veal meatball: very mushy gnocchi, meatballs were nothing special
-Cheese plate: for $11 you get 2 very tiny cheese wedges, not worth it with all the other great otions
