  • Irina, owner of Golden Thread Alternations & Tailoring should change the name of her shop to: "Irina's Golden Hands". Yep, I was so pleased to have found this most talented & fair priced "alternation lady". Being from Chicago, into not only feel good stylish clothes, but they gotta fit good too! One time & you'll be hooked, sewn, pampered & all with Irina doing the alternations! She cares about how you should look your best, and with her attention to detail, she actually made me look slimmer by taking in just the right amount of material in just the right places! What a difference, with how my pants fit, with her "golden hands" at work! Irina is friendly & proud of her alternations. She loves her clientele! Easy to find...just look for TJ Maxx, then Brighton Jewelers on the other end of the row of smaller retailers. You can also get a lot of other shopping done in this terrific center, with Sprouts, Petsmart, TJ Maxx, & a great lunch or happy hour @ Pasta Brioni or The Irish Pub. Also, I may add, I've saved so much time & money by having Irina make a couple of creative changes to my classic pieces I've had for years. Everyone asking me "Where did u get that outfit at?"....from Irina, of course.
