  • If I could give negative 10 stars I would! Contractor from my American Home Shield Warranty. Bathroom sink faucet is over 10 years old, had some type of black flaky mold type stuff coming out and I was unable to get the part off to clean/change the screen. Even tried a wrench. This guy arrives, stands there looking at it asks if it shooting water up. When I answer No, he already says, "they (AHS) aren't going to cover it. This is without examining it, hearing what is wrong. When I tell him, he suggests it is from my water heater and I say no, because this is the only sink that is doing this. He tries with a wrench and even he cannot get that part off! Runs his hands under the water for 5 minutes and says they won't cover this but I will call them. "I need to collect the $100 fee before I do" I told him I Don't Think So, if there's no repair I am not paying. 15 minutes later I get a call from AHS saying it isn't covered because this guy told them it wasn't covered. Seems like some kind of scam to me.
