  • We stayed at the Fairfield PHX -Midtown this last week and it was about as as poor of an experience as you could have. Was in PHX for a quick work trip with another coworker. Our rooms were not ready for early check-in. In fact we had to go through several until they actually had one that had been cleaned. My room had a broken fridge and microwave...you, know two of the things you expect to have while traveling. Luckily I didn't need the coffee maker or hairdryer...or I may have found out those were inoperable also... So as I am getting changed after traveling...a hotel employee just walks into my room without even a knock...are you kidding me?! Said he didn't know the room was an early check-in... So, the front desk and service are clearly not on the same page. This could have turned out much worse If I had actually been undressed. Other than that, there was nothing remarkable about this hotel. Mostly standard features for 3 star. I've stayed in better and I've stayed in worse. However, I will not be staying here in the future
