Personally, I am extremely particular when it comes to my nails.
Specifically at ANY nail salon.. it's extremely important to me to have a regular nail tech that you know and who is familiar with your nails. I believe this will lessen the stress of having a terrible experience.
Let me emphasize.. I ONLY go to James, and my mom has been his customer for 4 years. I've been going to him for months now and I get the same shape every time and from time to time I change the color. I get a coffin shape which can be a hit or miss - but James has shown to be consistent. He's very detail oriented. Show him reference pictures and he can do it. James, I give 5 stars. For the business itself I give it 4 stars.
I say this because once when I first started getting my nails done monthly - I went in with no appointment. It was a person who had never done my nails before. Long story short, my money was wasted. The gel began to peel within the next few days. The tech didn't paint the sides of my nails so I had gaps missing. It was poorly done. However, when I called to report an issue they were very quick to accommodate me.
They're customer service is good, and they call to confirm your appointment. The salon itself is clean, and i've never seen anything that has bothered me.
My BEST advice to anyone looking at Diamond Nails or any other salon, is to DO YOUR RESEARCH! See who is referred and has good/solid work that is similar to what you want done, and for me - I recommend James. I think it's always a loss when you go to a nail salon and don't have a specific tech you trust. That's the key! Make sure to call and make an appointment so there's room for you. Hope this is helpful for you!
