  • I feel bad having to give Midwood a 1 Star, but they definitely earned it for my dinner on Friday. They're doing a baby back ribs special and it was horrendous. The meat smelled foul and was gray (over cooked?)... it tasted like it may have been microwaved at one point, but I'm not sure. I have no idea what would explain the smell and taste of the meat, but I just know it was gross. I tried two ribs (I hoped the first was a fluke, but it wasn't) and ate the side of cornbread. Service was great, but hard to make up for the gross meat. Our waitress asked if we wanted to box it up, and was probably confused as to why the plate was relatively full. I will say that my wife did enjoy her dinner, but was likewise grossed out by mine. It'll be a while until we go back... at least until this special is over.
