Dropped off my UPS package on May 1st. Customer service said it will probably go out on May 2nd but they did not know if or when the UPS driver had picked up.
May 2nd I call the store at 1:44 PM and they claim the package "must have gone" because it was not there.
May 2nd I check for confirmation of pickup with UPS online tracking after 7 PM. They still show no package. I call UPS and they say there is no package in their system. They put me through to security who suggest I put in a police report. I call Drug Mart back at 7:44 and they finally get off their butts and go look for the package. It never left. It was "misplaced". They assure me that it will go out Monday. By Monday I will have now lost four days for my pricey return. I put in a complaint with the corporate office and specify they contact me by email. They do not ... the store manager calls me May 5th and complains that his corporate office had sent him the complaint. He does apologize and explains what he will do to re-educate his staff. Then it becomes a bit strange ... I am told that they have NOT processed my UPS package and it will now go out the next day on May 6th ... you would think they would have jumped through hoops to get my package out. Nope ... in fact I am told by the store manager that if I want it out sooner I better come get it and bring to UPS since they had not processed it yet and UPS will not come out unless its processed.
So I get the package and there are two young female employees talking to each other ... I get my package back and no apology.
I drive to the nearest UPS store and they actually give me a receipt. Something Drug Mart did NOT do. And at the same time the UPS driver comes in and I tell him about the Drug Mart complaint. He was very surprised that Drug Mart did not have a regular pickup. He also said that since my package already had a prepaid label there was NO additional processing required. Sounds like I was handed a line of BS by the store and they retaliated. No more business for them said my wife!
