  • This is the second time I've visited boba boy. Slow service, but great drink. I ordered a purple in love latte with taro tapioca, which I waited over 15 minutes for. I was not impressed with the service, as there were at least 5 people behind the counter and only two were working; very slowly I might add. Besides the slow service, the drink was amazing. I cannot express how much I love the purple in love latte! Tastes very much like Filipino halo-halo. My first experience was better, however I did not enjoy my drink at all. I came with my friend and I ordered the original milk tea. Don't order it!!! It isn't any good! However, service was very good! The staff was able to answer our questions, gave helpful recommendations, checked up on us to see if we were enjoying and even told us a little tip: if we purchase the bottle, and bring it back for our next visit, we get $1 off. The bottle essentially pays for itself after the second trip. This place is new, and a chill place to hangout, although their space is small and is not the greatest place for groups. Boba Boy is one of my favourite bubble tea joints. :))
