I just called to schedule a message, using a Groupon. The phone conversation went like this:
Me "Hello, I would like to schedule a message."
Him - "You using a groupon."
Me - "Yes"
Him - "I don't have anything until November 12."
Me - "You don't have any available appointments until November 12?"
Him - "Yes, you're not my only customer."
Me - "Since the groupon expires on October 3, and you don't have availability for a month later, would you still honor the Groupon?"
Him - "You can come in and use it, or get a refund. I don't care."
I was appalled. I have never gone there, and will never go. I requested a refund from Groupon. I understand when companies are busy, but there is no reason to be rude to a new customer.
