rev:text	Hello, thanks for reading this review, it should have been placed 2 months ago, in April 2018, when this 'service' was performed. A timely posting may have saved many folks some hard-earned cash. Sorry. Now that I am aware of YELP!, I will ALWAYS check the reviews before spending any hard-earned money on what might result in a poor level of performance, as I believe occurred in this case. I have kept the original quote to show/prove that the work was not completed, so that I am always aware of that possibility. And, I will do better due-diligence in the future, for sure. (Especially when we replace our furnace, roof, windows, etc. in the near future.) The company rep. had stated over the phone that the crew had been trained/educated at OLDS College. He insisted that they were all experts and the best tree service in Calgary, and that they had performed tree work for the City of Calgary, (that should have been my first red flag). But, it all sounded reasonable at the time and, we hired CTExperts. The crew of 3 did arrive in the standard arborist equipment, a 3 Ton boom-truck pulling a shredder. The crew was on site for about an hour at most. One man did most of the work, the owner seemed to be MIA for most of the time, I suspect he might have been speaking with potential customers because he had his phone out almost as much as any arborist tools. The third man looked to be a 'cash-corner' day labour person. I noted that he worked steady while there. When the work was 'completed', I did pay, (and, this experience confirms to me that no matter what else one might feel about his contractors, be they 'nice guys' or, saying things 'not on the contract', always demand and receive 30 days to pay or, refuse to hire, period! and, keep shopping, tree pruning is not usually an emergency.) The 2 major requirements to be completed were not met. I did place a call as to that fact with the owner, I even received a reply but to this day, not another call nor any remedial work has been performed. Yes, we are very disappointed with this company and would not recommend unless, maybe, if we had 30 days to pay. Thanks, G.S.
